Crocianelli is the capital's oldest haberdashery store; the premises are charged with the atmosphere and charm of their old furniture and the rich and fanciful ware's thousand different shades of colour. Everything deemed necessary in order to finish off and furnish a house can be found here: fringes, bows, trimmings, edgings, embroidery, cords etc., both ready made and by request of colour and design.
The firm was set up in 1890 by the same family who still runs it now. It has always been honoured to number amongst its illustrious clients the Vatican and the Italian Presidency of the Republic, embassies from all over the world and Italy's preminent families - from the aristocracy to the Agnellis - as well as set designers, film and theatre directors, architects and the most important fashion houses.
